HKIDB has always focused on Education, Employability and Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities. In view of the above, HKIDB launched the skill development programme in 2018 with the generous support of the Tech Mahindra Foundation (TMF).

HKIDB has always focused on Education, Employability and Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities. In view of the above, HKIDB launched the skill development programme in 2018 with the generous support of the Tech Mahindra Foundation (TMF). This was the 100th SMART center of TMF.  The partnership continued until 2023 and successfully trained 700 PwDs.

In April 2023, we embarked on a new chapter with SBI Foundation as our partner. Together, we’re empowering Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in the 18-35 age group. Our intensive 3-month program equips individuals with both hard and soft skills, preparing them for various career paths.

We offer training in Information Technology (including Microsoft Office), Functional English, Personality Development, Life Skills, Tally, and Retail Management, catering to diverse needs and aspirations.

Helen Keller Institute for Deaf and Deafblind (HKIDB) in collaboration with GDICA Institute operationalized an inclusive Skill Development Centre at Rajaldesar, Dist. Churu, Rajasthan. The center is conducting skill development courses for Basic Computer Skill, Advance Tally Prime + GST , MS Office Course , CCC ( Triple C ), Typing- Hindi, English, Diploma In Tailoring and RS-CIT. 69 students have been trained in various skills and 31 are undergoing training.

The institute has started a new course RS-CIT (Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology) which is recognized by the department of Information and technology and communication, Government of Rajasthan.

Our commitment goes beyond providing skills. We actively seek placement opportunities for our program graduates, connecting them with potential employers and opening doors to a brighter future.
