HKIDB ensures that Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) are independent and self-reliant by empowering them . At the HKIDB’s  Braille Press we have skilled staff who are PwDs where we offer services like Certification of Medical cartons embossed in Braille, printing of Braille books and calendars, Braille Advocacy materials, visiting cards with or without braille, printing of tactile books for educating the students with vision impairment and Deafblindness.  

We take pride in sharing that a safety instruction manual in Braille for the visually impaired was done by HKIDB in the recent time for Jet Airways, Air India Expresss and Go Air as well.

Our Braille Press has also accomplished the job of Printing the holy GURU GRANTH SAHIB in Braille , the first of its kind in India.
