Early Intervention
Children who are Deafblind or have multiple disabilities with visual impairment face challenges in all areas of development, including acquisition of information from the environment, communication and social-emotional growth. These children rarely experience incidental learning and must be given specific guidance and support on how to manage their interactions with their environment.
The early years of a child’s life are critical where an opportunity for early intervention can potentially prevent or minimize developmental setbacks. Our Early Intervention Program is dedicated to providing educational services and family support crucial to every child with Deafblindness/Multiple Disabilities with Visual impairment during these formative years, enabling them to reach their fullest potential.
Our work with these babies extends beyond the classroom to our premises’ garden, baby pool, outdoor play areas, and local field trips. Here, they engage in hands-on learning and gain new sensory experiences of the world around them, which is otherwise limited to their fingertips.

Our Educators
Our special educators are trained to work with babies from birth. Any child with Deafblindness or multiple disabilities with visual impairment is eligible to join the program. The program requires a parent or caregiver to be present during the initial sessions.
Special educators also train parents or caregivers in various communication strategies and methods that are to be implemented at home.
Each child’s developmental and communication needs are unique, and we adapt our approach accordingly, using playway methods, multi-sensory intervention, speech and language therapy, occupational/physio therapy, adapted equipments and materials, and accessible settings to promote holistic development.
Additionally, we provide 1:1 teacher-student ratio in the early years to ensure personalized attention and need-based intervention.
The mission of our early intervention program is to assess the individual needs of each child and create tailored programs that address their challenges and transform them into strengths, fostering self-dependency.
We also prioritize empowering the families of these children by addressing their emotional needs and establishing a strong partnership with them.
